Just how good is Viva Pinata?

I dont know, editors are saying this game is really good. But i dont know if i'm ready to spend $60 on raising Pinatas. so what are the best features on it and is it really worth getting this game?

I is a really relaxing game, yet can get hectic with alot of things going on at once! I enjoy the open-ness of the game. You can do what you want basically when you want to. It appeals to all gamers imo, as you don't need to be great at games to play it.

Really quick and easy to pick up and play. My best feature? Probably just the making of the garden and making the garden look nice. (I think i have minor OCD so i tidy up a lot, and this just appeals.

Sorry i was really vague, but it is a hard game to explain why you like it!

I don't think I would be able to get into a game about pinatas...
The Sims is pushing it for me here...

I don't think you would regret it, it is a really solid game, and also is something different from the usual shooters/sports games.

If it's the best game ever, NVR...why isn't in your last 5 played games?

I am curious about this game too. I may pick it up if it's going cheap at some point.

Read my review that's coming up. I think it's a pretty unique game with great visuals. Some people love it and others just thinks its ok. I happened to really enjoy it.

its extremely addictive and has some pretty darn good graphics. its a fun game that wont make you think too much if at all. overall i think its one of the more solid games for 360.

i wanna rent it, but blockbuster is always out of it, and they have like 7 copies. JERKS!!! oh well, ill just keep playing marvel alliance......

I know what you mean. I didn't want to buy the game because I'm low on cash so I decided to rent it. Too bad doing so required me to drive almost 20 miles away to a blockbuster I've never been to before. Everywhere else I called, did not have it in stock. Anyways the game is great and you should check out my review on the main site. I'm interested in what many of you think of my review and the game itself.

Anyway, i agree 100% with it, the review pretty much nailed it. I can imagine it was hard to write about this, as it is a hard game to sum up.

720p is heavenly on this game, the colours..... man the colours are fantastic!

You can only send people Pinantas over Live, there is no online play. It is sort of Extended Online Aware, if that makes sense!

Thanks, Anderlation. The review was bit tough to balance out because Viva Pinata has soo many gameplay elements that are unique. Many of which deserve to be talked about. I didn't want to waste to much time on them, mainly because it could spoil people's fun and it could get too long and detailed. I'm glad you agreed with it though. The graphics are amazing in it and its very fun to play. If it had more Live features I would have rated it even higher.
