I must admit this game has caught my eye over the last month.

Apparantley Test Drive (another racing title for the 360) has a free roaming feature. You can pick any car and just cruise around the island it is set on. Apparantly it'll take 2 hours to drive from one side to the other and 5 hours to drive around the whole island

If PGR3 isn't a launch title (rumour at the moment), and this is a launch title, this could be a suitable alternative.

I think some of the screen shot are rendered while some aren't but there is only one way to find out and that is by playing the game when it comes out

Well the ones that say Test Drive Unlimited in the corners are probably pre-rendered.
