Taito has released these new screens.
I'm not a big fan of flying (simulation?) games, but anyways, this one's is looking sexy. We'll a lot more from it at TGS.

Square-Enix has been looking into aquiring Taito (buy them out). Taito has been showing it's intrest in the next generation of gaming, way more heavily then they can afford (I beleive). So, I think an agreement between these companies has already started.

oh yes, and if they make it online then I am all for it, I loved AC5 but man it would have had so much more replay value if it had been online. So I'm looking forward to this one

I am A sim FreeK! any one here own The Steel Battalion? well I payed $200 for the controller and its great! Now Finally X gets to fly right.... I hope Someone will release A throttle/ flight stick, now that would be SICK!

That's a kinda polemic business. Square Enix is aiming to become the biggest japanese developer, even bigger than Nintendo and Sega, and that's why they're planning to buy Taito. The strange thing is that they're offering 600 million dollars for the company, which makes us wonder why so much money? when Microsoft Acquired bungee for half that price and Rare for $400 million.

Whatever the reason is, I find very unlikely that Taito rejects that juicy offer.

And a helmet with com unit attached, and a vibrating seat with ejector that tosses you on the floor!!!! YEAH! and a cool scarf that has an 360 logo.... so when my girl gets home I definetly won't get laid.....

I wonder if my Hori AC5 flight stick would work on the 360 hmmmm it is USB afterall, and I got it working on my PC using some drivers made in Japan. Its such a sweet flight stick, better than the PC version even. (I had the other and took it back it couldn't beat this newer one)

JamesB22-sounds like you will like that chromehounds game when it comes out bro, its a game that looks sorta like that Steel Batallion, and I'm looking forward to the chromehounds one 1up.com posted a little about it as they played and early version. Supposed to have 6 on 6 mecha action!

I like anything that makes the expeirence genuine. SURROND SOUND AND HDTV WERE MY IDEA LIKE 3 YEARS AGO!!! Now everyones got it, but I doubt MICROSHAFT will allow us to use that flight stick mentioned, but I really hope they at least come out with a basic $50 buck one, allthough I am willing to drop a couple hundred (steel batalion) just to make the game different and realistic!
only time will tell....
