Need help finding game with co-op!

I was wondering if there is anymore games like GEARS, where you can play co-op split screen through the original game, off line? Most games send you into Death matches and such which suck for two people. Any help would be great. Thanks!!!!

Well to answer your question their will not be any other game even CLOSE to the kind of gameplay you find in gears. It has a feel all it's own.

Secondly, I will anwer the 'co-op' part of your question. I know for a fact that Halo 3 and Unreal Tournament 4 will have four person co-op. Which will beat the shyt outta the gears co-op

At the present time however no games come off the top of my head that offer co-op the way gears does. GRAW 2 offers good co-op but that's online. If I were you I would look into Rainbow 6 Vegas. I personally have never played the campain but I think I it has co-op.. not sure though so somebody who has played it may be able to clarify that up.

Yes, massive GEARHEAD. I personally think it's in the top 3 games of all time, but that's for another thread. I just love the way you can sit down with a friend and destroy stuff like the ol' days without having to both being on-line. But 4 people co-op sounds cool.

Anybody know if VEGAS has this type of co-op, thinking about buying it, this would put me over the edge.

Well savior, I have good news for you. I called up one of my friends who had vegas and he said that their is in fact split screen co op like gears in the game. This game also got VERY good reviews and I know many people here at PX360 are obsessed with it. So in my opinion this is the game for you.

P.S. - Yes, Gears is indeed one of the top 3 games of all-time :P

Vegas co-op is good but if you have 2 people you loose the rest of your team which kinda sucks so you drop from 1 real player and 3 npc's to 2 real players. Its a little harder imo, plus the level transitions when you win dont go from one to the other you have to end then pick a new level and such, co op terrorist hunt is better imo even though its mega hard because you cant heal your friend.

Regardless, it's co-op is the most similar to gears. Which answers the question initially asked. The point of the thread isn't for people to express their opinions on how difficult the game is.

Just bought the game(VEGAS) on E-BAY, so I'll let you know my opinion in a week or two.

Just wondering if anybody knows of any other game with similar co-op to gears?

Got VEGAS the other day.

The co-op is similiar to GEARS, not as good, but still good. They don't give you the whole story line like single player, But the multiplayer is very fun. The graphics aren't as good as GEARS either, but still hold their own. Once again THANX JOE for the help.

STILL LOOKING FOR OTHER GAMES WITH THIS TYPE OF CO-OP, ANYMORE ADVICE????
