1st Annual Madden Tourney

When 360 comes out I want to set up a Madden tourney between us here at the website. I will start it some time that week. Teams can only be used once. There will be 16 teams.
The first 15 people to post their team will be in. List your team and your Gamertag.(If you dont have one put what you think it might be) You also obviously have to have the game by a couple days after launch.

Sounds cool but if I was a died hard Philly fan then I would not play. The 10 to 16 players may be hard to find if you can not repeat teams. I have seen at least 2 people in the forums with M. Vick and the Atl Falcons in their sigs so one may play while the other may decide not too because Atl is already taken. You should be able to pick any team. I might play still deciding on a fourth game for launch and was starting to think about Madden.

Exactly, I was in a Madde 06 league this year. And I was the next to last person to join. Think the Falcons were available? Nope..did I just not play? Nope..I picked a team that was available.

This is gonna be a lot of fun. When I get 16 teams I will pick the brackets out of a hat and then I will post the match ups. So the sooner people sign up the sooner you could talk trash to your opponent.

How good did you with the team you got? Do you think that you would have done better if you had been able to pick Atlanta a team that you know where the plays are and are more familiar with the players? What do you think would make a better game? You with Atlanta vs Q with Atlanta or you with Atlanta vs Q with Baltimore?

I do not think that it should matter if it is Philly vs Philly for the championship. IMO, I would rather win against someone's best team then to win against their 2nd, 3rd or 4th choice and then have them say well you beat me because I was not able to get Houston

I'd do just fine with whatever team I choose. In my league, I chose the GB Packers because it was either them, or the Dolphins. And I led the league in passing completions, and passing yardage. So I did fairly well...but it's whatever the guys want. I'd rather have it a 1 team tournament..
