the 360 does look better then the pc version. I think this is due mostly because of 2 reasons.
1.PC has to many variables to take into count. Everyone has a different pc setup, vid card, ram, pro speed, internet connection for online play. With the 360 everyones system is the same. Developers can create a game to run as good as it can for that one system, without all the variables
2.If you have a HDTV, this makes a MASSIVE difference.

I can't comment on the PC version, haven't seen it run on a hi end PC. I can say that the game looks good. Very good. But compared to the visuals on upcoming 360 games, like Ghost Recon and Oblivion, it isn't as good....the entire game, as a whole, is nothing less than outstanding, every level gets better, and at one point, I had to stop playing it because it got so intense. But visually, it's not perfection. Don't get me wrong, it's very good, but I know the 360 can do more.

We have to remember it's just one round of games and I believe only PGR3
is using two cores, the rest are using one just to get games out.
We have great visuals on the horizon it's just going to take a little bit.
I can't wait till spring to see what the developers have come up with.
It should be great.

I think your correct in saying that, but there is also the windows and background tasks that are also factored in, more background tasks the harder it is for the computer to process the game.

Actually it doesn't, believe it or not but 720p is actually equivalent to 1280x720 resolution on a monitor, when I play games and work in windows the resolution on my screen is 1280x1024 which a higher resolution than 720p HD, don't believe go find a H.264 Quicktime video or a WMV HD video running at 720p, your resolution at 1280x1024 and see if the video fits, and see if it's HD quality. The reason the game doesn't seem like HD is reason 1.
