FIFA 2006 RTFWC -Wot a pile of...........

Up Until now ive owned or played most 360 Games and thouroughly enjoyed most of them........until now. What the hell have EA done? FIFA 2006 RTFWC is a steamy pile of crap in my opinion. I havn't played a fifa game this bad since fifa 97 on the Genesis. The graphics are good but nothing the original xbox couldn't match. The game modes are limited too but its the gameplay that takes the Feckin jam out of my doughnut. lets see......the power bar for shooting is bloody tiny and too fast,the ball is a defender magnet coz as soon as you get the ball theres four defenders round you, this may sound trivial but you have to play it to see it and theres too much of a pause when you try to pass or send a through ball. The commentary is a bit crap too. According to the commentator, i had just equalised even though i was three - nil up. Anyone disagree then shout about it here.

Ive never been a FIFA man since I discovered Pro Evo, but I bought FIFA RTFWC on the 360 in case it was better than normal.
How wrong I was. What a terribly made football game, I've never played a game that gives Football a bad name like that.

I got the achievements from it and took it back to GAME and got full money back (traded it back in within a week). Its way better playing PES.

I havent played FIFA, dont really want to, but Madden has a lot of problems also. EA rushed every game they released for the 360, I guess its understandable when they only had limited time to get these games out for launch. Next year they will be better, im sure theyre already working on fixing everything, I hope.

I have the demo of it on my HD, and I for one enjoy it. I was kinda hoping on picking up the full version, but I think I'll wait for FIFA 07 because that will have more teams (like Chester).

I was thinking of getting it, but playing as a local team rather than 'Man Red' kinda makes me more interested in FIFA.

I've got fifa, and have only really played multi-player on it so far, with my brother. Its been pretty good fun. Plus, the players faces are just so funny. Drogba (ivory coast striker) looks like he has been stung in the mouth by a Bee!

Its not a patch on Pro evo, but it gave us a few hours joy in my house

I have fifa and it's amazing...I love it...the dude that posted this thread doesn't like it because he probably sucks...you got to play it for a bit to get use to it and then let the fun begin...I recommend fifa to everbody!!!

Hopefully they're putting out a Pro Evo game in spring, or so I read on pesfan.com

I agree that fifa is worthless. Madden isn't nearly as bad as fifa. At least in madden I can play through a whole season before getting tired of it, but fifa, I played two games and switched back to madden. EA rushed this game way too much. I am hoping that the next fifa will be much better.

There will be no need to buy the next fifa though, as Pro Evolution Soccer 6, or Winning Eleven 9 (depending on your location) will be out.

I don't think FIFA is that bad. Yea, its hella hard to get used to at first, but once you get the hang of it, its a pretty cool game. The graphix are amazing, and the players move very realistically. I think the people that don't like it, only gave it a 10 min. try or just a demo of it. It took me like 3 or 4 full games to start enjoying it.

Can someone give me any tips on this game, I just borrowed from a friend and I have never ever played any soccer games. I just keep loosing (on amature difficulty level), what am I supposed to do? Do I need tactics? Should I pass alot? I have no clue, I'm just loosing.

Yea but i still believe in them. They'll pull it back together with Battlefield 2, Fight Night.... Have faith & patience.

Don-- Yea man, you need to pass ALOT. Always keep the defense guessing on who is going to take the ball in. You can't just sprint past them, cuz they'll catch you. And also, mess around with the differnt formations. At the beggining of the game you can pick how you want your players set up ( like just one attacker, and more defense, or all out attackers, and few defensive players.) Make sure that once you get a score and the lead, to drop some players back on defense. You don't need to win by 20, just by 1!!

Turkey-- I do have faith in EA, just not their launch line up since they rushed the games out. MADDEN '07 should be dope!!
