Football Manager 2006 comes to Xbox 360 - the most complete football management sim ever made, now on console.

Overview

Until now, no console has been capable of doing Sports Interactive’s famed football management games justice. The advent of the Xbox 360 has changed all that…

Football Manager 2006 on Xbox 360 brings with it all the features enjoyed by fans of the PC game – that includes everything from FM 2005 and all the updates and improvements of FM 2006 – with an enhanced, redesigned interface to make it console perfect.

Hundreds of divisions across 50 countries are playable, with 250,000 real-world players and staff to work with. Enjoy fully-featured player training, FM’s famous 2D match engine, full rules for all leagues and player data accurate to the end of the winter transfer window.

With FM 2006 your TV’s no longer just for watching football, now you can conquer it!

Key Features

* The famous depth and real-world complexity of Football Manager on PC, transferred to a home console for the first time.

* Work with more than 250,000 players and staff in hundreds of leagues across 50 countries.

* A redesigned and refined interface to make perfect controls for Xbox 360.

* All the features of FM 2005 and 2006 on PC, including in-depth media interaction and manager mind games, total tactical control over your team’s play, man management and half-time team talks, manager contracts, comprehensive team training, and much more…

Sounds good. I love the series on the PC

I haven't played FIFA since RTWC '98. Started playing Fm / CM back in 01/02, great game. Could do with some flashy graphics like FIFA, bu I'm not complaining. But then again, downloading all the graphics for FM can be a bit tiring.

I've played CM since the legend that was cm97/98. Still playing them today under their new name I like that there is no legends, it means it can be alot more realistic, those management games with 3d engines are so repetative, giving you the same replys over and over, the match engine in the FM games, even with the 2d screen is near perfect.

It think it'll be too advanced for me. I don't get alot when it comes to football, I could learn though if it's worth it.

To be truthful, its the kind of footie game that you really need to know about football in real life to play, tactics, stats and stuff are all very important.

That's what I suspected. And really I think you have to understand it all to fully enjoy the game.

You would need a basic understanding of the game to get enjoyment out of it, but you should at least rent it. It is really a good game. I have been setting tactics for my girls youth team from some of the tactics I have used in FM/CM. Very fun for the girls to watch how it is supposed to work.
