Yeah, and just in case, the first pic is from a PS3 tech demo, not an actual game. However, rumors are going around that there will be a remake of FF: VII on PS3.

That was a rumor? Oh well I don't care as long as a next gen version of Final Fantasy 7 is available for the 360 soon.

I doubt it would happen. Most fans of VII don't even want the game remade, but if anything they'll do another spin-off, or maybe VII-2.

Even if there is a remake of VII, it'll appear on PS2 and will almost certainly be exclusive.

I hope they don't make a VII-2. I didn't exactly like X-2. I don't know about the exclusitivity considering Square Enix's new multi-platform approach.

Even though they now have a bigger multi-platform approach than before, I still think all traditional FF games will remain exclusive to the PS3. They could have easily been multi-format before, I don't see why that would change now.

Yeah, now that I think about, I couldn't picture a traditional FF title on a 360 game cover. Square Enix is making original RPGs for the Xbox 360, and possibly some multi-platform games.

i disagree. despite xbox selling quite well, its nowhere near ps2s sales. 360 will almost match if not beat ps3, so i think most formally exclsuive to sony games, that are not in-house sony games, will come to 360

Whatever this new IP is that Square-Enix is creating, you know it just won't have the touch that the Final Fantasy games have...Sony will make sure of that. I just really hope Lost Oddysey will dethrone the FF series once and for all, considering that it's published by Microsoft Game Studios. If not, we have a host of other great RPG games coming to our box.

I Would love this game remade, a long time ago.. when it was new I was playing it constantly

If they remake it, they must not change any of the story or characters...
I just hope they upgrade the graphics a whole lot, maybe some better sounds and _maybe_ speech, dunno if i could adjust to that :P..

i loved it for ps1 i still play it once in a while but not very often would be cool if the ff series went to multi platform
