Posts: 35   |  Gears of War 2 Limited Edition Warning I pre-ordered a gears 2 lim. ed. and remembered about the problem with the alo 3 limited discs. I took a look at the gears 2 limited cases and the looked a lot like those for halo 3. I would recommend opening the box in the store infront of the cashier to make sure you can exchange the disc if it is scratched.

Posts: 35 | Yes. the disc can pop off of the plastic peice that holds it by the center. it could then scratch against the metal inside. if it is like the halo 3 case, put it in a sleeve, or glue a protective thin peice of fabric in the case on the side the bottom of the disc is facing. i would put it in a sleeve, though. unless you really want to put it in the case.
