lol marcus for the first question and second question, marcus doesnt need any1 one to save him. he just got out of prison, who expects him to follo other peoples orders or allows som1 to save him? so, if u add it up, killzone guy is just an extra organized, always wanting to kill the most people (which ends up makin people save him) kinda guy. as for marcus, he just kills and kills his enemies without thinkin about it

Exactly!!!
The Marcu character is so much more interesting then that generic squad grunt, in Kill zone 2.
Kill zone 2 character
Brave, foolish, trigger happy, fresh recruited grunt, and uncalculating. Because he always needs to be saved by his squad, do to his recklessness.
Gears of war: Marcus
Brave intelligent experiences killing machine, and calculating, (why calculating, because he new his squad wasn’t going to survive in there, so as he told his squad to fall back agents his commander’s orders. He new what was going to happen when he got back, but what he also new was that his squads live was more valuable) which also makes him a great leader.
yeah this'll be a great game, from reading about details on the gameplay it sounds like a new experience, how it talks about the slower movements of the characters, how you do move in a 4 man squad and use cover, moving cars on fire to keep light around you and all that. I'm not going to compare it to other games though, I've seen a lot of great games coming out. And KZ2 isn't really a good one to compare it too. Thats sorta like comparing BF2 for the PC and Halo 2 on Xbox. On Halo your more of the one man army with masterchief, whereas in BF2 the point of it is to be in a team/squad. So kinda the same comparison here, Gears of War your definitely one bad@$$ mofo that needs no help he just happens to have a few lol. Killzone looks to be geared more towards squad based, both definitely have the opportunity to be great in their own ways and for different reasons. Just depends on what type of gaming mood your in when you get ready to play.
But for now yeah I'm definitely looking forward to Gears of War now, its looking to be the kind of game I've been waiting for and its looking better and better with each new piece of media that comes out for it! Its definitely a graphics showcase showing off some killer effects!

Thanks for the link to the new footage. This game is certainly shaping up to be a system seller. I just wish that it was going to be a launch title instead of coming out first quarter of 2006.
A jet pack would be cool... It is hard not to be exicted about the launch in November with titles like Gears of War. I can only imagine how clean and crisp the final version of the first batch of 360 games will be come ship date.
