Title Update Thursday: 250 more achievement points

Epic has confirmed there will be 8 new achievements for Annex, totaling to 250 gamerscore. They also improved roadie running, and did some normal housecleaning. The update will also stop most game exploits.

Looked over at the official Gow forums and nothing has been posted, but it looks like the new achievements can be gained in player matches but not sure about the original achievements.

Nope, the original achievements are still only able to be achieved through ranked matches.

The new ones on the other hand, just need to be played on "multiplayer." Which means, ranked or player.
