"MS be loyal to your users and give us back our game time that was lost. Were not asking for a free year but a week of service would be great and a month would show your true loyalty to your fan base."

It hasnt been that bad that I want compensation - but they'll probably do something for us all the coming few days anyway. Come on its not like this happens 24/7, very rarely have I not been able to sign into live.

Dude, I havnt played much LIVE in last year, bar some serious whoring of COD4 and Halo3 the weeks they came out, and I know they're busy games and servers get overloaded bla bla, but about 30% of the time I wanted to play I couldnt. I wont be re-subscribing to LIVE this year, I know yous will say Its my loss, im being a pussy ect, but think about it. Would you pay a Sub to any other service that works as little as LIVE? bar maybe a gym because your lazy I think not.

Go **** yourselves MS and get some dedicated servers, then get back to me.

ive had live since march or w/e and i have never not been able to sign in apart from the last few days. For me its been fairly consistent through peak times, i managed to play most of sunday morning though.

Its to be expected though at this time of the year i guess. Yeah its annoying like now id love a few rounds of cod4 but whatever, nothing to cry about really.

Shane you are exaggerating a bit man live is hardly always down.

Today is the first time I ever encountered a problem. Only game I can connect Live to is Skate. Rank 58 in Deathrace

I havent really had any problems yet, Im lucky so far. The menus have slowed a bit a times but it always works if your patient. Im not saying that is what is happening to anybody else but thats how its been for me.

I have mixed thoughts on how MS should handle this. They have been very straight forward about the fact that the issues are on their side. Granted if you don't hit up Major Nelson's blog or frequent the Xbox forums you might not have known that. I do think that just like a phone company or a cable company would do if your service was F'd up they should compensate us in some manner. I'm in agreement that it doesn't have to be a free month (would be nice thought huh?

) but like a few hundred point to put towards a arcade game or even have them make a list of 10 arcade games we could choose one of, and that's what we'd get. Just having them say thank you isn't enough. I myself haven't been able to play pretty much anything over the last week or a bit longer due to all of this. I will continue with the LIVE service becuase the other option of going to Snoy makes me want to jam small dull knives into my skull.

The smart thing to do would be to give everyone say 800MP to put toward an arcade game of their choosing. Gamers that otherwise ignore the Arcade would potentially download several demos and see other games they may want. I never messed with the Arcade until I got some free games for registering my console, and now I own about 35 titles.

yah i agree if they gave points it would be nice, but the announcement leans more towards a particular free game that they will make available.

It'll be F'n frogger or pac-man. Two games that i'd rather peel my skin off with a potato peeler than play. back in the day i'd have played them, but not now. I want them to look at something better like Carcasone (granted i have it already) or anything with a bit of playability for modern gamers

Oh and I as a loyal fan of the 360 will indeed feel free to compain when they have problems with LIVE. Why you ask? I pay for it! If it was free then whatever, but it's not. As for complaining when it's down for one day. Um.. more like 2 weeks for many of us, and that's unacceptable. Man I work on a Xbox forum myself, and will not even fathom getting a "Big Black Doorstop" (aka PS3) because other than blue ray i feel it's an inferior machine. So it's not that I want to carry on a debate about how Sony's online is better because it's not.
For anyone to tell us to stop our bitching is crazy. We pay for the best service around and I love everything they have to offer. But when so many of us pay for this out of our own pockets we should be able to complain about bad service when it is more than a small glitch in the system.

And BTW MR/MS Boost king. I'm thinking you may not be out of mom and dads house yet or you in some manner don't pay for your LIVE service. If you do pay for it yourself then you would be what i term a DOLT for not being PO'd about this crappy service as of late.

And I'm outa here.....
