I wanna hear what everyone has to say about the super bowl. Just list who do you think will be in it and the scores.

Colts will be lucky to advance on after the Patriots. I mean come on your field goal kicker has to do ALL your scoring?? Granted yes they played the Ravens D but still come on. Manning sucks, way over rated.

I say Bears vs Patriots. Bears winning 28-24

i think Colts vs. Saints would be the best matchup. Bears-Pats just seems boring and lets be honest no one from the NFC deserves to be in the Super Bowl. so really it doesnt matter who makes it becasue the AFC team will win.

i share many of your opinions. i think that the tom brady bill belichek combo will be too much. either the colts defense will come back down to earth or peyton will suck again. dont count on both, but one will happen and the pats will win

in the NFC:
my off the wall(maybe) prediction is that Reggie bush will be lucky to escape with less turnovers than grossman. the bears D will be pissed that they let a pansy run all over them and didn't even jack him up once and take it out on reggie bush who will be freezing.

the wind will eliminate the dominance of any passing game(especially a dome team) and Deuce McAlister is the only one that scares me. either he will be freezing and run for less than 50 yards, or he'll go for over 150 with 2 TDs while Jones runs for 100 and a TD, Benson runs for 80 and a TD and Peterson runs for practically no yards but a TD.

i'd love to see packages with Mc Kie(or Gabe Reid im not sure about McKie's status for the game) and any combination of Jones, Benson, and Peterson(2 of them) and Berrian and Bradley(if he plays, his ankle got bent pretty weird on Sunday) as the wideouts. that would not necessarily produce big plays through the air, but it would open up the run game while having guys in to block on the run, and have enough guys to send a checkdown guy and have 7 blockers to give Rex a nice pocket and the recievers time to get open. plus the saints would not expect it. i can see it now, Bradley streaking down the sideline, Berrian running a deep in, Benson 4 yards downfield and if not needed to block Jones drifting off to the side opposite Benson. all this set up by mixing carries for Jones and Benson, 2 different style running backs. Ron wouldnt even have to get too creative for that to work

I almost forgot to post my Super Bowl prediction. If good Rex shows up, which he will Bears 21-17, led by another 5 fumble game.(technically there were 3 fumbles and 2 INTs, but i cant call the INTs INTs. one the reciever caught the ball and popped it up the the bears and the other bounced off the reciever's shoulder) maybe ill post a more in depth prediction when the game gets closer

NVR, the Colts got lucky against the Ravens. there is no other word than lucky. they will be back down to earth soon

How were the Colts lucky against the Ravens? Yeah, there were two Manning passes that should have been intercepted, but McNair also had 2 that should have been. The Colts smothered McNair and they couldn't get their offense into a rythm. That kept their defense on the field and wore them out at the end. Obviously I'm a Colts fan, but I've got to hand it to the Ravens. They said they were tough, and they weren't kidding.

I think the Colts will pull off a win against New England since it's at the RCA dome, but no matter what happens, it's not going to be easy for either team.

As far as the NFC goes, Grossman is going to screw it up, and we'll see the Saints in the Superbowl. Nuff said.

grossman will not screw it up. the saints are a team that Griese could beat coming in in the 2nd half, and Rex will not be allowed to screw it up. in most cases i would not support pulling Rex, but it's better to get there and lose than not get there at all

lets see the colts play the ravens in baltimore 3 more times, they will lose all 3, this is why basketball, baseball and hockey are played in series. but football is a game that series wont work well for. i would love to see the colts in the super bowl, new england is far better, and griese could come in in the 2nd half and pull it off against the colts

I would like to see the Bears win it all - but for some reason I have a feeling the Saints are going to win the Super Bowl.

Saying that nobody in the NFC belongs in the Super Bowl is just foolish. Granted some of the teams that made the playoffs didn't really deserve it (i.e. Giants) - but that can be said for the AFC too (Chiefs).

In fact in the NFC we have the two most deserving teams - #1 & #2 seeds. Both AFC teams left are another story. I wouldn't call the Colts lucky - but they are definitely going to have to play well to win. The Patriots are the luckiest team of the four remaining teams - as they would definitely not be here if the Chargers wouldn't have done everything possible to lose that game. However Brady did deliver when it counted most – which the Pats will need again to win in Indy.

One thing is for sure... both games should be very entertaining, and as fans we can't ask for much more than that!

I agree... I'm not much of a conspiracy theory nut, but if the Saints win the Superbowl against the Colts just one year after Katrina and a horrible record, it's a little too convenient for me. To further your theory, Peyton Manning is from New Orleans........ makes you think.

AFC = Colts > Pats +10 spread
The Pats will have a tough time against Bob Sanders and the Dungy Cover 2 scheme. The Colts have won the last 2 meetings in Foxboro, the Pats secondary is questionable, and the only legitimate receiver they have is Brown. I don’t expect Brady to have a big game especially if June and Freeney can press but if Maroney and Dillon produce big numbers the Pats can win.

NFC = Bears = Saints (pick)
The Bears run a lot of 4-3 which should keep Brees pressured but after giving up over 100 yards to Alexander (who was still not 100%) I wouldn’t be surprised if Mcallister had a huge game. Grossman’s last game was pretty good being that his only pick was via deflection but if the Bears are to win he must protect the ball especially with the Saints offensive explosiveness. Who wins? I don’t know but it will be a good game.

Champion = Colts > whoever +7 spread
The Colts match up well to both teams and have proven they can win against a great defense (see Ravens). The Saints will have problems with the Cover 2 and will rely on the run. The Bears will have to rely on their Line and Grossman not handing the ball over. The Colts can move the chains against anyone (highest 3rd down conversion rate ever) and as long as they win over on TOP Manning will have his first Lombardi trophy and I will have won a ****te load of loot. If they lose, it was still one helluva season.

the saints arent exactly a good defense. they are balanced though, their run defense AND their pass defense both suck
