How many Star Wars books are out there? Or Star Trek for that matter. It depends. If you have read all the books there are still numerous questions that have yet to be answered. I called bull**** on the Dyson Sphere in Ghosts of Onyx though. Each book respectively has sold millions and if there is money to be made, which there is, I can guarantee another Halo novel will be published and hopefully it's authored by Eric Nylund. After all, money makes the world twirl.
Edit: A Gears novel is in the making. I wonder how that will go over and if it is successful will you apply the same logic to those books? | |

I personaly enjoyed the Novels. It greatly expands the Halo universe and gives you a better understanding of the games and such. | |

I really liked the one's written by Eric Nylund...great writer. The Flood was written by William Dietz...and IMO wasn't very captivating and seemed to follow the game too much instead of telling the story behind it. Great series, though.

If the books were poorly written then I would say yes but they are quality books. The Flood is the only book that isn't quite as good as the other 3. | |
