I gotta say, the way i was brought up, if I did somethin wrong I got smcked hard once or twice and that was enough. It sure as hell worked on me. Obviously my mother's wooden spoon no longer holds any fear for me lol but in a child's formative years, a little physical discipline is a good thing. In my opinion.

Heres a tip! Beat the soles of their feet. They dont show signs of bruising. Also a punch in the stomach (allow 24 hours for marks to clear) will get the point across to unruly children. If physical punishment isnt your bag try mental torture. Tell a small child there is a ghoul in the attic and move their bed under the attic hatch. Also tell them that if they are bad you will put spiders in their ears when they go to sleep. And the spider will lay eggs in their head and the baby spiders will eat through their eyeballs from the inside.
