Halo movie,who to be the Chief?

Been alot of talk over this just like when they did that cack Judge Dredd movie and all the hoo harr about taking the helmet off in that.
Well I reckon it should be Ron Pelmon the guy who played Hellboy.
He is huge and has a voice like gravel and as a plus he can act,the roll would be a physical one like the part of V from v for vendeta played by Hugo weaving (Mr.Andersons bestest mate) not.
Any thoughts on this and who to play who.

I agree that in nearly every single case, a game film has sucked something awful, but I wouldn't be so quick to say Halo wouldn't succeed in being a good film.

Watch this Last One Standing - Video (which is pretty good)
and then think about how a larger budget and decent direction could make a damn good Halo movie. I'm not saying a Halo movie will be great (if it even gets made), but it certainly seems like it has the potential.

A halo movie would be awesome those shorts they did look really good but this movie would need a serious 100-125 million budget to not make it crappy.

Ok how bout Guilmo De Torres (spelt wrong prob) doing the direction,give him £300 mill and watch the cash roll in from mechandising.
Ron Pelman for the Chief,Rachel wiess as cortana,Dezl as Sarge Johnson and Kurt Russle as Captain Keys.

Get Alan More to do the script (see V for vendeta,watchmen )

that dude who played agent smith in the matrix should be chief. look at how well he did in that stupid ass v for vendetta movie, he wore a mask the whole time, but you could totally see his range. he already has experience with a mask, how much hard with a helmet? the choice is obvious. or you could just cg mastah chief. actors cost to much, pixel are cheaper and do more for less.

I think Ron Perlman would be perfect since he has a great deal of experience behind masks and make-up and he's not some little teeny shrimp like most actors. The Master Chief is a big guy in and out of the suit.

Thank you Hollywood,Yes Big Ron is the tops for the job cause you know the helmet has to come off at some point yes/well big Ron and I dont want to diss the guy looks like hes been in a fight or too "he aint pritty"he looks like he likes to end his Saterday nights by beating the crap out of people then getting tossed into a police cell for the night.
Hugo Weaving (see the matrix agent smith and lord of the rings he was an elf in that) is a hellof an actor both in the physical and with facial and diolog but just does not have the BIG physical presance like the Chief has to need, you want a guy like peter prows who body played Darth Vader while Earl jones did the vioce.
Well Big Ron can do the acting and the voice he is top man for it.
for those who have seen the Halo Wars short movie that is the type of quality needed getr on to Bungie and Big Bill at microsoft and badger the buggers to get it on.
