So I sold my xbox earlier this year....mad...but I am getting the new one on release day. The question is...do I buy a cheap xbox to fill the gap? Is the Live account portable to the xbox360?

Thoughts and suggestions welcome.

From what I've seen and read your current Xbox Live account will be transfered over to the 360's Gold account with your gamertag when the system is launched. I myself haven't seen anything official about this from MS, but this is what everyone seems to be saying at the moment.

Funny you shgould mention a get together, later this afternoon I'm posting a thread in this section about a forum get together on PGR2 on Sunday mornig with myself and Matt. So watch out for the thread later this afternoon

Okey dokey, will get PGR2 and Black Arrow to start with. Will look at Forza and Doom as well.....o bugger I am hooked again!

The Live account is transferrable - as for buying a xbox now. If you can get one cheap as then do it, otherwise hold off!
