Posts: 351   |  dead rising v/s saints row I only have enuff $ for one new game, but there are two I want. Saints Row and Dead Rising. I LUV GTA SA, and played both demos. I had as much fun on both demos.... So I throw the question to my new loyal gaming family... Which would you choose AND why???? (dont just say which game, id like to hear why)

Posts: 909  | Dead Rising = gore, Saints row = Disney. (both are great, but thats the equation my brain came up with....) I love gore. Dead Rising gets my vote. EDIT : im getting saints and have dead rising already so to me, it doesnt matter like it does for some.

Posts: 227  | Personally, I'm getting Saints Row. Don't get me wrong, Dead Rising was awsome on the demo. Just to me, I had more fun on Saints Row. I have never been a huge GTA fan, but Saints Row seems to have kinda changed that. In games, like Cliffy B says, "People come for the single player and stay for the multiplayer and co-op." I find this to be very true, hell I'm still playing halo 2 after almost two years. Dead Rising doesn't have mulitplayer, and Saints Row does, so that is a huge plus for me.

Posts: 351 | saints row it is.... I was playing the demos back to back last night, and i really like the targeting system in saints row. Dead rising will have to wait till christmas. I cant belive we have 3000 members, and i only get five votes on two of the hottest games coming out this month.

Posts: 680 | I like Saints better. I think it is way more entertaining for a longer period of time. I think I would get bored alot faster with dead rising. Saints with the multiplayer will keep the game fresher. I still play GRAW and the only reason is the multiplayer. Plus I can play it with my friends. I do have to mention though that I may not be the best person to listen to because Im not sure Im am actually gonna get either one. I thouhgt they were both a little dissapointing. I might wait for Madden, TestDrive and the many others coming soon.

Posts: 961 | Since you already really like GTA, i would go with Saints Row...Plus it has Online and Multi-player. Dead Rising is just single. Don't get me wrong, DR is a fun game, but slashing zombies with a bunch of different weapons is going to get old fast, over stealing cars, money, things; Killing gang members, doing hits on people, assassinations, Pimping hoes, your cloths, your ride; racing cars, etc...the list goes on.

Posts: 2,000 | Saints Row is basically to hold people over until GTA IV is released. I'm personally tired of the GTA type games. I found Dead Rising hilarious (before anyone says that there are a ton of other "zombie games", there hasn't been a zombie game in while). |
