I have a very hard time playing games that are in french, when I know the english voices are much better... Translated games always seem to have the same voices... When I know I'm going to buy a game that has a lot of dialog, I always check on the box if voices are in french or english.... If they are in french (Version française intégrale), I order the game from play.com (UK), and I get it in about a week.
BTW, there are some games that can be played in english even if you buy them in France. To be able to do that, you first have to set up your console with english language. For instance, I just bought Splinter Cell DA in France, and to my surprise, the voices were in english...
