Posts: 72 | IGN: Xbox 360 Wireless Steering Wheel Review
That's the wheel I have. I got nothing but good things to say about it other than the fact that it say's "wireless" but you must plug it in for force feedback and vibration. But on the other hand it would burn through batterys left and right if you didn't so I can't complain. Oh and sorry I was to lazy to post the picture. |

Posts: 22 | I've got the Wireless Wheel also and I love it. The only downside is the lack of games that are available to use it with at the moment, lol. It works great with PGR3 and TDU. Not so great with Burnout Revenge and terrible with NFS Carbon, at least in the demo of NFSC. It also surprisingly works really well with Forza even without Force Feedback. There's more tension than I expected without FF.
I used the Logitech DFP for a couple of years on the PS2 and this 360 wheel is pretty close to the DFP in quality, IMHO. The only real differences I see is the lack of 900 deg steering and the lack of a "shifter", which was just a glorified button anyway.
This pedal base is probably more solid than the DFP and real comfortable to use and the wheel unit it self is as sturdy as the DFP for sure, if not more so.
Bring on Forza 2 now that we have a true FF wheel!! Can't wait!!!

As far as NFS Carbon, I've only tried it with the demo since I never bought the full game, but I sure didn't like what I felt with the wheel in the demo. Too much of a dead zone and very difficult to control, IMO.

The 360 wireless wheel has no shifter, it uses the paddles, but they are a nice size and real easy to get to with your hands on the wheel.
