It highlights the emergence of the Brutes as playable characters in the game. It touches on their skills, origins, and how they are being created. It has about 2 ½ minutes of gameplay footage.

It's hard to believe we'll get a brand new seven minute video next week unless this is a special Christmas present from Microsoft and Bungie. Hopefully, it is true.

However, we hope the Brutes part is not true. We don't want to play once again as another character unless this is for co-op multiplayer or what would be even better, to step into someone else's campaign to take the place of Covenant enemies.

I agree with the article it is a rumour take with a pinch of salt. But a 7 minute trailer? Remeber the screens that were released where with Halo 2 textures, basically 90% of the shots were fillers. Halo 3 will look better than the screens.

Also i hope the Brutes aren't playable, i played Halo 2 and was loving it up until the Aribitor. He sought of made me feel like it was a chore when i played as him. I want Master Chief all the way.

I think he means playable as in Multiplayer, such as you can chose to be a Spartan or an Elite -- now you can be a Brute too. That's how I interpret it anyway.

However, this is just a rumor, but 7 minute video would be nice. Honestly, I think it'll be a true rumor, just to push a few more 360 sales into Christmas.

Possibly but then we are talking about showing the trailer around, obviously it would be on the iternet. But we here in the UK have not got the 60 second CG Halo 3 ad here yet, that will get people interested!

7 minutes, though? I would go to the toilet a little in my pants if they do it.

I wouldn't really care either way when it comes to Brutes being playable in MP or SP. I would always choose the Spartan model for MP because it's smaller and looks cooler. And about the trailer I hope it's true 'cause the last one was too damn short.

Also the MP thing wouldn't be too bad, look at Gears, they have the ability to play as Locust Hoarde.
