Could I have graphic distortion on my XBox 360?

Could I have graphic distortion on my XBox 360? What I mean is that I'm getting this odd 3D rendering effects when I play games. So far, in Gears of War I'll be standing next to Dom and his armored suit will look all white with no textures on his suit and then a second or two later his textures pop-up on him. Or I'll be playing Call of Duty 3 and certain objects will not render in detail for short periods of time. What's the deal? Do I have a defective ATI graphics processor or bad memory? or is this normal?

That happens to me too. Sometimes I walk into a room and half the room is all blurry with no textures then ill walk a little farther into it and the texturing shows up.

happens to me wen i play gow too. my character looks like it was made with clay. it goes away though so im not worried at all.

It's just texture loading. These hiccups are pretty much normal with the sweet load times this game has. I'd rather have this, than another 30 seconds of a load screen assuring no delayed textures.

Exactly, it mostly happens when playing Coop on live right? Or even when you skip the cutscenes?

I get it for like 5-8 seconds, not a big deal as the textures load and look gorgeous when fully loaded!

yep, it happens on coop quiet often too.
