Posts: 541    |  Video MarketPlace Hey guys i was just wondering how long it would take to download a video (like south park) imjust wondering cuz im goin to be buying a crap load of MS Points here soon. and dont want to wait a couple of days for it to get done. Thanks for any information

Posts: 1,770  | it all depends on your connection speed go here to find your speed Bandwidth Speed Test it shows you megaBITS per second, and xbox live shows you megaBYTES for size. there are 8 bits in a byte so to find how long it will take: 1.divide the number the link gives you by 8 to find megabytes per second 2.then divide the number xbox live gives you by the number you get from step 1 example my connection is 1.7 Mb per second South Park season 1 episode 1 is 250 MB so i take 1.7/8 and get .2125 then take 250/.2125 and get ~1176 so it would take me 1176 seconds or approximately 20 mins to download that episode |
