Corpser is hard to kill!!

I need some advice on how to defeat Corpser. If anyone has already beaten him, please help.

It's easy. 1st you shoot it in the stomach (from the side). When it opens it's mouth, shoot it in the mouth (you will have to repeat this 3X). be on the look out for wreches. When you back it all the way up the the metal platform, shoot the metal squares (they are the supports for that platform)and the corpser will fall. Easy enough?

Yea, pretty much like that.
I found the wretches were more the pain in the @$$ than the Corpser was.

I don't know about you guys but the coprser seemed easer to beat on insane.

It was. I beat it so fast, the wretches didn't even show up.

In fact several areas "seemed" easier to beat.
I didn't know if it was me or I was actually getting better at the game.

I still can't beat RAAM yet though.

I bet I have close to 4 hrs trying to beat him, just can't seem to do it.

Yeah i did the same thing, i think i beat in somewhere between 30 to 45 seconds on insane.

I saved the Torque Bow from a previous act and scooped up the Longshot before I went to battle RAAM. The explosive round from the Torque Bow will dispatch the Kryll then I opened up with the longshot to his head. He went down quick. I Did the same thing on co-op Insane and he went down first try.

umm we are talking about the corpser not General RAAM.

The Corpser is probably eaiser to kill than boomers. when it's claws are raised shoot it's but then in the mouth. Repeat until it is on a platform then walk on the two latches {silver door thing with blue light} and move away as it is about to attack.

If you beat it fast enough, you won't have to worry about Wretches.

have a shotgun and a snipe. fire 1 round from the snipe into its stomach then a single round into its moutn. rinse, repeat and your done. I beat it on hardcore in 16 seconds using only 6 bullets. not including the ones to shoot open the hatch

On casual and hardcore, I beat it without dying. On insane, I needed co-op. try that.

Basically the Corpser is one of the most disappointing boss battles ever.

I disagree. Jyggalag from Shivering Isles takes that spot. BAM BAM dead. Couldn't believe it. I've fought mudcrabs tougher than that.

Anyone who beat Shivering Isles knows exactly what I'm talking about.
