of course the first one is better, but i always have a rule (i break it sometimes, lol) Never buy a game with the same genre more than 3 times on your consoles (cause ur not gonna play with them all so buy 1 or 2 (ive got like ten FPS on my PC, oops))!

Broodman,

A few issues I see with the first bundle are.

1) FF XI and Halo 3 are not launch titles so you'll be waiting until 2006 before you get those games. I may be wronge abou FF XI, but I'm sure it's not a launch title, if I'm wronge someone please enlighten me

2) Why do you need the 64MB memory unit with the premium package when you have a HDD. Do you intend to take game saves to friends houses? If not then it's a total waste of money.

3) I think they annouced that XBL would be US $49.99 for a year, do you have info that contradicts this [i.e., you listed the Xbox 360 Live Value Pak as $70 US]?

4) Are these two options that you are considering purchasing and have the means to do so and thus want contructive criticism with your choices?

Anyway, obviously the first choice is the better of the two. If you do not need a HDD, then go the second route and pick up a HDD whenever you see fit (after it drops well below $100 US).

The value pak has more than the card itself (card $50 US)
