Officially convinced you cannot beat RAAM on single player insane.

O.K. I have been stuck on beating RAAM now for like 100 years now.
After my last go around I am Officially convinced you cannot beat RAAM on single player insane.

I had 4 grenades 9 torque bow arrows and I was at full ammo for the Lancer.

I was able (several times) to get RAAM stuck behind the first block (whatever it's called).
I used my grenades first to clear off the Kryll then unloaded 1 1/4's clips before the Kryll come back. Repeat for all 4 grenades.

Then I go to the Torque bow arrows same thing, in fact I was able to get 2 of the arrows in him. I empty my Lancer and part of my pistol with no death to RAAM.

The whole time Dom is still kinda shooting as well.

I get to a point where RAAM is just hanging out with no way to clear the Kryll off of him until the Reavers just hover there and kill me.

Several times I was able to get to the Troika but the Kryll wouldn't leave RAAM and other Kryll would swarm me or a Reaver would hover and kill me.

This really is a Cheatin' A$$ game on Insane.
After today I am really convinced you cannot beat RAAM on single player insane.

No disrespect but anyone who says they have (by themselves) is either lying or somehow cheating. Of course I'm being sarcastic, just because I can't do it doesn't mean it can't be done But you're still a lier or cheater....lol

Lastly. Why can't you Chainsaw RAAM?

I still love Gears of War but it really has become UN-Fun to try to beat RAAM on insane.

I tried him on Insane a couple times and knew I'd feel exactly the same way, so I stopped trying. If you wanna try it out on co-op or something just send me a friend request.

i know man his AI on insane isnt that good. Sometimes you die for the most unrealistic things. if i run by him u die in an instant even without the kryl on his body. ive beaten him on casual and hardcore and both times i found very little difficulty. i havnt tried insane alot yet ( less than 6 for sure) cuz im too busy with multiplayer. tell us if u ever defeat him.

It's like I'm standing in the light. The Kryll are off of RAAM. I go to take a head shot and then boom, I'm dead! WTF? who/what killed me?

The Reavers either just got killed or are off screen. The Kryll aren't to me yet even though I'm in the light shouldn't matter right? and RAAM isn't even facing me so WTF?

I've hit RAAM in the head with the sniper rifle like 7-9 times until some unknown thing kills me so like WTF?

I don't mind a challenge but this is ridiculous. It's just not fun.

Yeah, good info on there. Also my buddy beat it on insane by himself, just running past him, getting on the chaingun and putting literally a few rounds in him and he's done. In fact I thought that was the only way to beat him, I never really bothered shooting at him. Oh well, I havent bothered with that game after I beat it. On to bigger and better things!

Try distracting him with an apple pie. I did and it didnt work.

Well, i grenade, pop my Lancer in him a few times, wait for him to come around the part where you are in cover. Then jump over and stay in the light, but get the other side of the train. Wait for the Kyrll to go back to him, jump up the stairs behind you and get on the cannon, and start blasting!

It will take a few times of practice but just hang in there! I will help in coop if you want?

this whole topic is garbage because you can only play insane on co-op so stop being a pathetic lier and trying to show off to people

and if you think "yea you can play single player insane" whjy dont you go try...whe you go to single player and it says "select diffuculty" it says casual,hardcore and insane , but it doesnt let you play insane it says "to play this diffuculty go to co-op"
