You should be mad at yourself for letting a player get soooo close to you.

Just have your lancer equiped and fire a single bullet at him. It stops the chainsaw dead in its tracks. Just try to keep a bit of distance from other players.

Also, people need to get over it all. Its in the game, deal with it. I hate hearing people say to stop tagging, or shotgun whore, or active sniper whore, or boom *****, or torque wank etc etc. Its someone getting pissed that there not as good as you, so they can deal with it.

I would use the chainsaw AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE because it's NOT a noob weapon in the slightest because it functions like a slightly delayed instant kill melee attack, what really would get people pissed at me would be when I am sawing a guy up and 2 of his teamates are waiting there to cap me after i finish but they miss and I chain another and the last one misses and gets chained.... thats CLASSIC.

If you are being killed by weapons that you see as NOOBISH then mabye you need to reevaluate your own skill and ask WHY AM I DYING, then change your tactics to defeat the attacks that kill you.... some full thinks he can run and gun with a shotgun but he MISSES his shots and get sawd in half is not a flaw in the chainsawer but rather a flaw int he dead guy because he died.

Look inward rather than outward.

I just saw your comments boost and you are dead on. Anytime someone gets to be really good with a weapon they have to take crappy comments from the people they kill, personally i love it when I am facing someone with great skill in a weapon because it actually means something when I CAN KILL THEM. Anyone with basic to moderate skills can go out and kill noobs all day but you have to be smart and good to beat experts.

I think I saw on a game demo, maybe it was UT3, it said go easy, remember you were a noob once too.
