Posts: 14 | I hate the 360 So I was playing on my first go at Texas Hold'em on live. 5k buy-in. Lose it a few times on all-in. I'm down to 10k on my bankroll. Go in for the last time. Go up to 20k, I'm thinking 'Yeah'. Go all-in, 2 callers. I win 62k. I'm on the point of recieving all the money - then my game freezes. I'm sitting there, WTF!!!! I have to reset my 360, I'm out of the game, I lost all of my money and I'm down to 5k on my bankroll.
I tell you now, if your 360 is prone to crashing, then Texas Hold'em must be the most frustrating game to play. If you don't quit the game manually, they should still keep you on the table for 5 minutes before they remove you, and you should be protected. I'm so demoralised now. |

Posts: 1,098 | Have you followed the basic care needs of your 360? You know, well ventilated, Intercooler if necessary, air dusted, and so on? If you haven't, it's no wonder you are having problems. Keep it clean and cool, and it will be fine.

Posts: 14 | I don't have problems that I am aware of with my 360, just occasionally every month or two it freezes when I bring up the guide menu, or press the guide button when it says 'Achievement unlocked' while the game is doing something in the back.
I don't really hate the 360, but it just couldn't pick a more perfect moment to freeze. I think it secretly hates me, I don't spend as much time on is at I used to. At least I got something to do on it now, build back my bankroll while I wait for some good games to come out. |

Posts: 14 | And you're illiterate. I suggest you read before posting. Wait, I suggest you learn to read properly first.
1. I do not 'suck' at poker. I guess actions speak louder than words, so we'll skip this one
2. I lost my money due to the 360 freezing, not due to bad play
3. If you had bothered to read, you would have read something along the lines of: 'I don't really hate the 360' |

To be honest I think that the reason it did this was I was hitting the button before the screens even had a chance to register i.e. Hit guide button.. before the guide has even register hit B or whatever you were hitting. Try slowing down and allowing the xbox to catch up. That has worked for me. FYI My loss was A LOT.

Posts: 24 | Jacksmith is acting like more of a JACK ASS, he never said that he wasn't good at poker he said his freakin XBOX 360 froze while playing.
As for you xillaxistenz I would tell you to get the NYCO intercooler or any other intercool because I just picked one up and it helps with glitching and all of the frame rate in most of the games are better with an intercooler.
So theres my suggestion |

Posts: 841 | I have not played poker for a while, but I do remember having problems with it freezing. I fixed it by changing the the table back to the default. I don't remember what one I was using, but I do remember if I changed it from the default it would lock up. Not sure if that is the case with you or not. Good luck~
