Annex Doesn't Count??

I am going for the seriously achievment and have just passed the 10,000 kill mark. However i did not get it. Does this have something to do with the fact that i have 1,200 kills in Annex? Does this not count or something.

Yeah, Annex does not work towards achievements. Because of the continuous respawns it does not give you progress on the achievements you're trying to work towards.

I wish they would count kills, though it is significantly easier. You can usually get at least 75 kills in one match.

thats exactly why they don't count em. you can rack up 1000 kills in 10 hours opposed to 200 in 10 hours from other game types. Also with the speed of Annex people could stack teams and just let the opponents kill them for achievements so it would ruin the challenge...

Basically many people just get their achievements and then drop back to playing in player matches with swapped out weapons and friendly fire turned on for variety.. Annex is like a fun quick addition for those people that have their achievements or a those wanting a break from acheiving for those who are still working on them.

I think they should count though. A kill is a kill. It's no easier to kill somebody in Annex as apposed to Warzone or Execution or Assassination. So what if it's easier to get kills in a session quickly? All the better for people who want the achievements. If you've already got the achievements and claim it's unfair, quit complaining. Life is unfair, you've already got the achievement anyway so why does it matter?

I completely agree. Gears is not that fun anymore for me so i will never get seriously unless more content is released.

yea man i have 5k kills in annex, i play it for fun with my friends and if they did count, it wuld pretty much make any1 else who had to work for their kills in warzone and execution feel like crap

well get a group of players together...have competitions.. do player matches with specific rules... or specific weapons.... ya know... mix things up.

so are you saying people get emotionally attached to their aheivements? I cant tell you who what where when or why. In fact I wish they had an option to not count achievements at all, they are ruining the industry.

haha! well, if you want more achievements, there is a report that epic is creating more of them to be used in a GOW upate soon, yet i dont know when. plus, there also talking about/making 2 more new maps, and possibly even 2 NEW WEAPONS!!! WAHHHOOOOO!!!!
