for me they're both different enough to justify having them both...now when UT 3 comes out then I might have to get rid of R6 since that game along w/ halo 3 and bioshock will all own for the fps genre.

They aren't really comparable. One is a realistic counter-terrorism game, the other is a futuristic shooter. They are both great games in their own right. Perhaps smoking less weed would make you more objective...

i loved gears.. but rainbow six is more my type of game.. love them both by the way.. just love my 360

.. cant wait for halo 3.. and im lookin into UT3.. who cares if bioshock isnt multiplayer..seems like an awesome game and i have plenty of multiplayer games.. I still play Counter-strike for the pc.. Awesome game as well

I really wish people would quit comparing the two to be honest. They are 2 totally different games and the only thing they have in common is you take cover and shoot bullets.

Rainbow is a tactical shooter, Gears is a arcade game.

well.. there is some strategy needed in gears.. you cant just run and gun in that game.. atleast not on hardcore or insane

LOL my thoughts exactly, you can not compare the games directly, however you can compare the cover systems, R6 beats GoW hands down in that department.

Story: R6 by far
Graphics: GoW, however I perfer the look of R6 because its more realistic

Both great games but if I had to choose its R6 for me
