where can i get a warranty

i want to get a warranty for my xbox because my mom bought my xbox about half a year before she effing gave it to me so i want to look in to getting a warranty for it. and how much are they etc.

I was under the impression that anytime during the first covered MS year, you could call them and buy another year. Maybe someone else will have better info. Good luck~

As long as the policy covers accidental damage.

Where did yr mam buy it? Electricals usually carry a one year waranty as standard with the place you bought it from. I had mine from dixons the first unit I had would constantly freeze I took it back and had a no quibble exchange. they didnt even test it. And the warranty time was set to zero. so Technically I have 18 months warranty.

yep, call MS and tell them you bought it a few months ago. Then they will regerster it and if you want to extend your warenty its 30$ per year.

I wouldn't purposely pour coffee on it to claim on home owners thats a crime it is called insurance fraud. They are cracking down on this I wrote a paper on this exact subject in my graduate school program. If caught big penalty big fine and or jail time and good luck ever getting any kind of home insurance again.

Is that actually true? .. a year after your inital 1 year warranty is over that you can just call MS and buy another year for $30 ?

i just sent my 360 away on the 12 month warrenty due to the ring of death and im so Pissed with my self for not gettin a extended warrenty but i now i kno this i will definetly buy one due to now i know how easy it is for them to break or something to go wrong

From what I have read, yes. You can call them anytime before the current warranty expires and extend it for $30.

Yes it is true. I've had my 360 for 8 months, and just bought another year warranty for $30. They told me I can continue renewing it annually as long as I do it before the warranty expires. A sound investment if you ask me.
