So far today the site has been running OK - so if you haven't signed up yet... do it NOW before the site goes down again.

You BETTER be kidding.

I'm not going to rant again but Europe is a bigger gaming region than the United States by console sales and populous.

Get an atlas, you might learn something.

well said Recon. I got a £830 a month mortgage which hurts. plus if i spend more than 3hours a night on the xbox my mrs goes up the wall. so balls to this competition, not that us Europeans can enter anyway....

But yeh its just a clever ploy from MS to get people to rush out and buy games and/or buy MS points to get crap from LIVE arcade.

actually, u get a free copy of FusionFrenzy2!! wooot!! hehe.. wait.. umm.. can i get stuff off of XBLA instead?!??!?!?!

scott, while its nice to tout consoles to people ratios, it really doesnt matter..
would you rather have
300k units sold in a 500k area? 3/5 ratio
3 million units sold in a 10 million area? 3/10 ratio

personally, id rather have the 3million sold.. which is obviously not a real number, but closer to what the US means to them vs brittain.. no offence. On the real, its more to do with liscencing issues between countrys than anything else.

theres about 460 million people living and breathing in europe - compared to the 295 million living in USA. i reckon there would not far off be an even split of the amount of 360s sold on both continents. MS should look after europe. what say you scott?

The USA is 300 million, whereas Europe is around 730 million (and contains the 3rd and 4th largest gaming markets - UK and Germany respectively)

I think Microsoft would be wise to start giving us a bit extra. Europe is the battleground this generation, no matter what anyone else's patriotic views says.

Anyway, this isn't a thread about which continent is more important. Let's get back on topic.
