Bought Crackdown yesterday...

I bought Crackdown yesterday, Beta included of course, and it's a blast to play. A store called Game Champ had 2 stacks of copies being sold with the same old "Do not sell before 2/20/07" sticker. After buying it I cancelled my reserve at Gamestop and showed them my sealed copy. It was great, and I didn't tell them WHERE I got it from.

A friend of mine got it too, we both live in Staten Island, NEw York. If you want proof, look up my gamertag, VendettaAS. It's on my games list.

so how u like crackdown? Are u happy with ur purchase or are u just waiting for the beta?

Very happy with the game. Crackdown is a true sandbox game and shines it's brightest when played over LIVe with the co-op feature. The beta for me is just a bonus.

Yea i just picked up my reserve copy this morning when they opened . just in the 5 mins that i was there 10 people called asking about the game but all the stores in my area are sold out and only have copies for people who preordered ! LIKE MY SELF . Ill play when i get home for a bit . I cant wait for the beta .Any idea when it will start ?

I've already beaten all 3 gangs and have 400+ achievement points. o.o That was fast. The new patch makes Crackdown much better since you can turn on the crimes which means more exp. When I beat the game pre-patch last night, there was NO ONE to kill on the streets. I thought I was screwed. The Four-Play Pack is great!

I picked up my copy of Crackdown tonight! Woohoo! Haven't played it yet, but its about ready to be fired up.

Fortunately for me, I got the very last copy at the EB Games in my town. Talk about a close call! It was the copy that they put up for display on the shelf, lol. The CD was behind the counter, and the empty case was on the shelf. Lucky.
