Default Returning my 360 to wal-mart

Well my 360 won't read none of my games now.I've had it for only 2 1/2 months.I gonna try and exchange it at wal-mart tomorrow.I hope they have ones with the benq drive.I guess I'll have to take what they got though.I heard that if you play alot of dvds on the 360 it causes the laser light to crap out fast, any truth in this?

sad to hear it man do you think wal mart will take it back after 2.5 months ? Or do they offer some kind of extended warranty? Would have thought after that time the store wouldnt cover it and you'd have to deal directly with microsoft using their 1 year warranty. Although i know wal*mart is pretty good with returns. Anyway good luck on getting a nice new (working) box !

I have not heard anything about dvd's causing what u said.

Wal-mart gives any electronics a 90 day warranty, after that it goes back to the whoever made the product.Last year I returned a 360(due to a money problem) and they gave me back my money, that was over 2.5 months.I'm bumed about that caused that 360 was working flawlessly.(figures, huh?) Thanks for the reply Nufan,I'll let you know what happens. Its a real bummer with all the problems I've been hearing about the 360.It's an awesome machine when it works properly.

Exchanged it without a problem.I had 2 days left on my wal-mart 90 day warranty. So far this 360 works good.It was made 09/07/2006,so I didn't get one with the ben q drive. Also i can't claim my old gamer tag cause I screwed up my live id email address on my last 360,instead of @hotmail.com i put @holmail.com,so I out a 13 month subscription to live and about 10 live arcade games and various themes and pics.Wonder if its possible to get that all back by calling support?Any thoughts?

Call support! That's your best chance of any answers, and they are the most likely to have access to change and fix things on they're end.

An error like that, with such a big impact on your money & registration, would upset me quite a bit. Anyone could goof that up, and i'm sure they've had a ton of people mistype things in the registration.

Call M$ support!!
