Is Splinter Cell Double Agent Worth Getting?

Hey, I'm big fan of Splinter Cell. So, I heard that Double Agent gets a bad reviews?. I'm so afraid to buy it, not want to waste my money if game suck.

Even you guys play this game before or how you like it?

If your a bif fan yes i love Splinter Cell so i bought it i must admit it was FAR to short but amazing play so yeah i would buy it if i was you.

YES! I put off playing it for a long time, gotta be in the right mood. But this was IMO the best SC game I've played.
The gameplay was very diverse from the last ones. Meaning, some missions were strictly sneaking, you can't even grab or kill people, while others were "kill every last man alive".
It was a great game.
So glad I took the time to go through it.
And it's beautiful to look at too.

Absolutely loved it.

The daylight missions are great. Hell, the Kinshasa missions alone were worth the purchase. Pure chaos all around.

I never really cared for any other of the splinter Cell games but this one looks alright but im not sure. its just an opinion.

I moved your thread into the "Tom Clancy" area.

This game is fine, but not quite the "wow" of SC:CT. I think they short-changed the game. Still, if you are a big fan, you should pick it up.

I always liked SC great games, i own all of them.
I rented SCDA because i wanted to see it 1st and i wont be buying very meh, so stupid the way you play the same level about 4 times!

I liked Splinter Cell DA better than GRAW and R6 and they are both good games. I like SC storyline a lot better.

yeah the addition of the spy base missions was cool but I felt that DA had, in a gameplay aspect, too much in common w/ the 1st one and pandora tomorrow(which was also made by the dev who made DA) in which a lot of times there was only one path to do something and that there were times where it felt like you were being lead down a path instead of choosing it; something that CT tended to pull off more.

Also some of the missions weren't very interesting asthetically. There's a mission where you're on a boat and while it looks gorgeous it doesn't give you as awesome a feeling as the levels in CT.

although it was my first splinter cell experience, it was amazing to say the least. very impressive graphics, great tactical gameplay, and a cool arsenal of stuff. story was neat, but it was a little on the short side. i also never felt like i got a chance to really use all the gadgets i acquired playing the game, but it was fun nonetheless. i say it's worth getting.

yes get it graphics are crisp in hd game is good but short and online is decent to chaos thery though.

I liked it. But then again i've liked all the Splinter Cell games. The storyline was different, which was good. The controls alittle clunky, but eventually got use to them. The graphics were awesome. The different levels & atmosphere were each varied and different-- except for the few times they had you going back to the same place 3 times.

Overall, I liked the game! Bad reviews? Who cares! I thought it was good, but take my opinion as I really enjoy the rest of the series.
