Bungie Humpday challenge 3/16/07

Not sure if any of you got to read this, as it was quickly over-shawdowed by the Weekly What's update and the recent Website revampage. Nevertheless, I thought it was interesting to read:

There are some interesting bits of information on Halo 3, specifically, sniper rifle nuances, shotgun and sword tidbits, and the player camera review tactic, which lets you see other player's "game style", which will be interesting to say the least.

And the gamerstyle-thingy, you know, they mentioned before that you could record clips of your pwnage - and judging from this humpday, you can record other players views as well. Although I don't really know what to think about it, I really don't want players to record all my pwning, you know. I hope you can in someway "disable" the function, so other players can't record it.

And about the snipers - Thank god. Some say that sword is the worst noob-weapon, hell no I say. The worst kind out there is the sniperwhores. The magnetism in Halo 2 is just way, way too much, and it's actually ridiciously easy to pull of a one-hit-kill. One (relatively easy) shot to the head, and you're dead. It should't be that easy to get a one-hit-kill like that. IMO, anyway.

Oh I agree, that sniper has way too much auto-aim influence that it actually detracts from actual skill in Halo 2. So if that has been nerfed down some, it'll be a vast improvement and make the game more fun and interesting as well, since it'll give the rest of us a fighting chance against a sniper-whore.

I think the video recording is interesting, but then again, I do want some things to be secretive too. Perhaps Frankie was reviewing over people's playing style via their accounts, but it may not be available for the outside players? I dunno...
