I'd advise you use your warranty if it's been less than a year since you purchased your 360.

Um, yeah. I'd say use your warranty if you have one. If not, pay to have it fixed or buy another....with an extended warr. Call microsoft. I personally wouldn't mess with a PS3.....waste of $ IMO.

Def, use the warranty, I have all three consoles, and you dont want to pass up the 360, as for the PS3 being a waste of money, its not. Enough said. But yes, go thru M$ and get another.

That's a rather flawed line of thinking. Anyways, just buy another then. Everybody knows the launch consoles had generally more problems than the later ones anyways.

Dont go and buy another one. Call microsoft and pay the $130 dollars to get yours fixed. It will also renew your warranty so if it happens again you will get it fixed for free. Dont buy a PS3, they just arent worth it yet.

get a ps3 if u want reliabilty, but dont lose faith in the 360. the new ones are a bit more reliable. youll still get loads of random errors when you least expect it tho, its the way of Microsoft for pretty much everything (WINDOWS)

just pay to have it fixed. it's cheaper then $300 for a new one(HDD/other accesories work fine right? so a core would be fine) and a lot cheaper than buying a $600 PS3 and new games at $60-65 and new accesories.

I wouldnt say its a flawed line of thinking. As much as I love my 360 Im on my second and its been fine so far (touch wood) but Money doesnt grow on trees Mik, and you dont keep investing in products you have no faith in wether you can afford it or not. Thats just plain stupid.

You can call PS3 anything you want but please explain why you regard it as a waste of money spd. Dont just post a comment like that without backing it up.

If you call 1-800-4MY-XBOX and beg, they will discount the price to just under $100 for the repair and you'll get a new warranty.

this might work if it lags or freezes when there is a large change in the picture on the screen, some tvs cant handle the graphics which makes the 360 lag, try making it on a lower graphic setting. dont worry the looks dont change much. do this at the console settings menu.
