oblivion;magic wont regenerate

hi please can sum1 help me,i'm playing oblivion and im quite far on in the game and now all of a sudden my magic wont refill,so i have to make magicka potions which as u know is no good to keep makin through game as you use all ingredients quite quick,has this happened to anyone else please tel me how to sort it,its so annoying

what character race, birthsign, and class are you? some race/class/birthsigns get no magic regeneration as part of the character... sounds like thats where ur sitting.

astronac birth sign doesnt regenerate magic, but steals it. you may have a diesease? check you active effects, look for anything weird.

have you been attacked by wraiths? I forget which kind but one of them hits you with a spell that stops your magicka from regenerating.
