Posts: 1,875 | It's actually getting kinda nuts. I saw one scan of a customized spartan with a combat knife hanging off his battle armor. It didn't say whether it was usable, but it looked hella-tight! The fact that the wraith now has a sperate gun turret is a cool addition, makes me wonder if the Scorpian will have something similar, although it already has a machine along with the cannon, so maybe nothing will change. The Brute Chopper will be interesting as well. Well, in reality there is so much more to consider now, I'm not sure where to start... |

Posts: 3,184  | I got to use the Wraith last night whilst I was exploiting the Custom Games glitch. It's not changed all that much from Halo 2 apart from the Turret which a team member can climb aboard (and if an enemy is lucky enough - them too). It is a good addition because at close range, the Wraith was really vulnerable but this is still the case with an attack from its rear. There is not only a massive blind-spot for the Driver, there are no defenses back there. Oh and just to report: the Sword is the same as it was in Halo 2 minus unlimited charge. |

Posts: 1,875 | That is a beautiful lemon, Don. The glitch is done when you have a party of 6, and you invite someone else, a member gets bumped out into a personalized custom game. That person then sends out invites for the rest of the party to join him in the custom match. Anyway, I think the wraith should have a natural defect -- meaning, the back end exposed to threats and jackings. Otherwise, it'd be too powerful. |
