Is the 360 just not destined to leave my home?

Hi guys

just want a opinion on something i have sent my 360 for repair once it started crunching when i took it from my house to friends house to uncles etc then it started playing up so what my question is, Is the 360 designed to be a portable gaming console or is just destined to sit in my room?

is anyone able to take theres everywhere and there 360 is fine?

Yeah I take mine around a lot. In addition to bringing it around to friends houses, every four months I have it shipped via UPS from Halifax, NS to Calgary, AB (Across Canada)... It's a real pain because my degree is a 4 month co-op program, its even forced me to buy 2 HDTV's... one for each city.

If you do, make sure it's in a proper container so it won't get bumped around. Don't just put it by itself in the backseat or anything. :/

yer thats what i thought u usually just put it back in the 360 box but thats getting wear and tear so maybe time for a new transportation device for the precious 360 lol btw one of my friends friends put his in the backseat in his jumper and he crashed into the back of someone and the 360 was basicly destroyed and not too mention the front of the car lol i dont like him anyway so its ok thanks for ur opinions.

I packed mine into the 360 package box, then bubble wrapped it and put it into another box. Worked great.

All that packing, for what? Just to walk with it? Or ship it?

And, i've taken my 360 places. I recently took it with me to Chicago, in a cleverly packed book bag. Still works fine, and I even stepped & kicked it while I was having s3x. Mine hasn't burst into flames, or stopped working.

hmmm lets see. I took it to chicago on vacation last summer, where for 2 weeks it never stayed in the same building for more than 2 days, as it was being taken with me between my aunt's house, and my friends houses, i've taken to friends houses here, including one time we slept in a tent because his mom had to go to work early and it was in the 30s during the night. no problems *knock on wood*

Nah stone, all that packing was to ship it via UPS airmail. It probably isn't even necessary, but I didn't want to risk it.
