Posts: 2   |  No sound when cable is switched to HD Hi, we have just bought an xbox 360 but are having problems with the sound. When the cable is switched to tv and the input is on av3 we have picture and sound. However when we switch the cable to HD, we get fantastic graphics but no sound whatsoever. We have gone onto the dashboard and checked the audio section but no matter what we change it to there is still no sound. Can anyone advise me please. Posts: 3,184  | One thing to check is which audio inputs correspond with that video input. For instance the SD cables (just the yellow Composite one) will have a different audio input from the HD one (the 3 Component video cables - Red, blue and green). When you switch the switch from SD to HD, make sure you move the audio cable (the Red and White which are connected to the yellow Composite) to the relevant jacks  |
