I Think The 360 Is The Most Complete System Out At This Time. Its Has Online Play, Hd Dvd, Awsome Variety Of Games, And A 3 Year Warranty.... What More Can You Ask For?

Why!!!. Only X-Box 360's with a manufacturing date before September 2006 have more chance of dying than those made afterwards. I've had mine 7 months with no problems so far, except the odd power cut which caused a red light or two to appear.

I had my xbox replaced by microsoft a few months back and they were very quick with the return. (about a week) Now i'm having trouble with the replacement they sent me and I called and they said now repairs take 4-8 weeks. What's up with that? You can build a house in 4-8 weeks.

You have to take into consideration the volume of repairs MS is currently handling with the announcement of the new warranty. This very same issue happened during the first warranty extension in late 2006. Many people, including a handful of people I know, are turning in fully functional 360's in hope that MS will install new heat sinks and what not for preventative measure. They are aware the extended warranty only covers general RRoD hardware failures but they are taking the chance anyway. TBH I can't blame them.

We can close this thread, the thread starter has brought his 360 back a LONG time ago, flaming him now is just sad.
