Hence also, EPIC has no plans to release this content to the 360 at all!
Now I personally am hoping this rumour is entirely false and inaccurate. I pray we can bask in the new levels/chapters, that was shown at E3 2007. I think we would be severely disadvantaged if we were excluded from this new content.
It makes sense the PC version should be the same as the current 360 version. New content should come to the Console first, not the PC (Sorry PC Gamers but you've had stuff first for ages!)
Thoughts everyone, has anyone heard similar or can provide a rebuttal? | It's all just part of earning and maintaining multi-million dallar profits margins. Many people already have Gears on 360 so why wound they bother buying another copy on their PC? Well....New Campaign Content of course. Epic mabye made a public relations fuss that Microsoft made them charge for the latest Map Pack but at the end of the day they still cashed the check containing their cut of the loot. The end result of Making the content PC only is that people will buy another copy for their PC. And also hang onto their 360 copy in the thin hope that the content hits 360. By limiting access they create supply and demand which earns profit. |
