Default E3 Halo 3 Trailer

I thought it was pretty cool. The graphics were better than what everyone was expecting. Especially the enviorment details like the waterfall it shows. The forest looked really cool to. I also like the cool blue and purple colors from the ships and other stuff. I really liked the new halo 3 trailer.

What do you peeps think?

I thought it was a very neat video. The graphics look much improved, and this will be the first Halo game I will be picking to date.

You won't regret it, seeing as how this will be the best Halo game to date.

I was thoroughly impressed by the trailer. The graphics looked nice, but I expected that. Some glimpses of the vehicles, like the Mongoose and the Brute Chopper, were especially great.

I was more interested in this being the first real look at the CAMPAIGN, and getting tidbits of story, like Chief and The Arbiter working together or the Covies planning to glass the planet (what about the Ark?).

Overall, great teaser.

I liked it too, although I am keenly interested in seeing what IGN and 1Up got to see. IGN said that if Bungie had shown what they got to see, there would be no question about the graphical prowess of Halo 3.

Some have opined that Killzone 2 was a better trailer, but I thought that it was on par with Gears Of War, and that there wasn't anything outstanding about it -- sure, it was nice, but nothing that we haven't seen with CoD4 or MSG4. I will say that I like the colorful Halo 3 footage, as opposed to the bleakness in the other trailers I mentioned.

Anyway, I noticed that if you stop the video, instead of the varying 2-5 second footage scenes, the graphics are somewhat uneven, but are still more impressive than the scene jumping we get in the trailer.

I thought the actual video was laughable.

It seemed as if it had been scripted by one of the morons that seem to create the plethora of montage-style cack that plagues youtube. Not what I expect of Bungie.

Oh but the graphics are very nice, but as Grindy has said...it's a little inconsistant. Perhaps different builds of the game?

Oh and: YES, THEY'VE ADDED SPACE BATTLES!!!!

M$ was stupid to just have a trailer they should have played the level Bungie showed journalists behind closed doors. It would have had a better impact.

I trailer was cut bad yea but who cares. They are finishing up the f****** game. They should be spending time doing that and making sure everything lives up to what we expect then to worry about some stupid trailer. I dont think they need to sell the idea of the game via a trailer. The name alone sells it. We know its going to be great. Cant wait.
