Hi all

I am sick of everybody talking about how much better games are on XBOX LIVE can i please get a list of things i will need to start playing online (and yes i have a 360) i just help with.. what modem speeds, what cables and also what costs!

is money an object?

if it is then you'd be better off with:

a broadband connection (minimum of about 2meg)

an ethernet cable (doesn't need to be an official one)

an xbox live gold card subscription (or a credit card which you can use to sign up via your XBOX)

XBOX 360 headset (doesn't have to be an official one)

however if you're not really on a budget you would be better off with this setup:

broadband connection of about 10-20meg for hosting your own large games

any kind of ethernet cable

a router so that you are able to connect your PC and XBOX to the internet at the same time (wired is more reliable than wireless but if you are on a wireless network anyway you may want to get a wireless adapter for your 360)

XBOX 360 headset

gold card of course

i think that should be all you need...

thanks mate i have a slight budget and i dont have a credit card so hmm... its ass kissing time lol

Like Alex said, You can buy pre-paid Gold membership Live cards at local gaming retailers. You do not have to have a credit card to play Xbox Live.
