Default Getting my 360 in a few weeks

Seems a bit off, but in my next few paychecks i'm gonna get one on the 27th. Question: Whats a good driving game? Racing on dirt, or asphault. Or a good adventure game. I never owned an XBOX either, so just something to get used to the controller. I've also been a Nintendo fanboy most of my life. I'm sure i'll enjoy 360. I also have plans for Halo 3.

Well, for racing on asphalt , get Forza Motorsport 2, for dirt, well I guess I would suggest DiRt. As far as adventure games go, I have not a clue.

You'll have no problem adjusting to the Xbox controller. It's a hell of a lot better than the Sony and Nintendo offerings.

A great Adventure game is The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. if you like adventure games that should keep you busy for a while.

Spartan's right. I forget to mention a game recommendation, but Oblivion is a winner.

be sure the thing has good airflow. You cannot tuck it inside an entertainment center with the door close... also it's not good to put it in an enclosed shelf on an entertainment center. 360s are a bit picky about getting hot if there is not a good airflow. buy a $15 nyco fan that clips onto the back of the 360 it keeps hot spots in the 360 several degrees cooler.

tons of great games out now starting at $20 new/used.... and many original xbox games are compatable starting at $3/used

Save your money nyko cooler fan is worthless and if your 360 goes down first thing MS asks is if you have a nyko fan on it.
