Posts: 3,238 | You guys are missing Flatout: Ultimate Carnage, which is actually a hell of a lot of fun. The physics are slightly more realistic than the typical arcade racer, and you get wreck the **** out of cars and scenery.

All of the arcade games can be fun at times for sure. I really liked the drifting in NFSC. They just aren't my cup of tea at all. Going from a realistic semi-sim racer to an arcade racer just sucks. |

Posts: 2,812 | Point taken, but not for me. I can see how someone who is used to nos, no damage, and full throttle corners would get bored with a racing sim/semi-sim. |

Posts: 2,650 | Forza is the best, but sure NFS is fun sometimes. NFSMW is the best, but then ea started rushing out carbon and pro street, it's all ****. |

Posts: 418 | I'd probably have to say Forza. Not big on racing games, get bored of em kinda quickly. When I'm in the mood Forza 2 definitely suffices. I loved NFSU on PS2 but haven't played pro street. |

Posts: 677 | Its not the most realistic but its not really full arcade but in terms or series I think my favorite is TOCA. They have evolved the series with different levels of sim and produced some intense racing. FFB is always excellent with Codematers and over the years Ive had the most fun with TOCA/RaceDriver series.
Of course GTR and Gran Tourismo have been loads of fun too. Colin McRae also. The NFS series is pretty intense at times, im not an arcade racer in general but sometimes after losing the fuzz after 15 minutes of adrenaline charging good times I cant help but smile.
