If I beat the story mode on hard will it give me the easy and medium achievements as well?

That is a very good question. Well, I'm not sure but I'd say 90% of games do. However, their is a possiblility it won't because Earth Defense Force doesn't give you it for every difficulty undrerneath the one you beat it on. But if I had to take a guess. Yes it would

I'm not sure about that. I'm almost finished with the campaign, but I haven't touched it since FM2 was released. One would hope you would get the lesser achievements.

Well that's f'ing weak! I beat GDI on easy, and turned it up to medium for NOD. I may as well just play thru on easy, then go back and redo it all on medium, then play it a third time on hard.

or you can just do it on hard and not do easy and still get the achievment for it.

If I'm understanding correctly, winning on hard won't unlock the medium and easy achievements. He forgot his soup, but not his achievements.

No, it doesnt. I've beaten the GDI campaign on Hard, and it only unlocked the Hard difficulty setting achievement. You're gonna have to play all three difficulties to unlock their respective achievements.

Stonespike, how the hell did you manage the GDI on hard? i'm not even able to complete it on easy LMFAO! very very hard game. but great fun online!

You must complete every stage with every bonus objective on each difficulty to obtain points. Completing the GDI campaign will give you 80 and completing every campaign will give you 250. I have completed every mission on every difficulty with all ribbons awarded save the last second to last GDI level. Getting gold on that is a *****.
