Posts: 711   |  WIN a Xbox 360 Elite and MS Points from PX360.com!!! Posted on the front page but just incase you missed it! Planet Xbox 360 is giving away a brand new Xbox 360 Elite console, along with a copy of Wing Commander Arena and 11,200 Microsoft Points to our loyal readers. How you might ask? Well thanks to Electronic Arts and our own Ed Ransbottom / Fried Karma being the man at Wing Commander Arena, we won a recent Xbox 360 fan site competition held by the good people at EA. We almost had a 50" Plasma HDTV and Bose Home Theater system to give away, but it didn't quite work out like that. Anyway, onto our competition, which should be a whole lot of fun. The title is "Who is the Biggest Planet Xbox 360 Fanboy?" (not to be confused with a recent forum thread with the same name) and it will end on 31 August 2007. What we want is all our site readers, whether newly arrived or veterans, to take either a picture or video of themselves promoting Planet Xbox 360 in what they think is the funniest/most entertaining/craziest way (as long as it's legal and you don't hurt yourself or others!). You need to record or photograph your entry and then send it into us at comp@planetxbox360.com. All the site staff will then review the entries and pick the top 5. Those entries will then be posted on the front page of the site for everyone to check out and vote on. Voting will be done through the forums and we will have an anti-cheating system in place - so please don't try it, likewise we will be able to pick up any photoshopping you might attempt! The entry that gets the most votes will win the Xbox 360 Elite and a copy of Wing Commander Arena, with the other four finalist entries winning 1,600 Microsoft Points each. That's about it really, I suppose all that's left to say is that the judges (Planet Xbox 360 and its staff members) decisions are final, and please make sure your videos aren't massive in terms of file size. Other than that, good luck and get your thinking caps on, we are really excited to see what everyone can come up with to promote the site and are looking forward to giving away such a great prize! - Planet Xbox 360 Staff. |
